Privacy Policy

The Service may use your location (GPS) to compute the sky for your position and to find observatories near you. Location is accessed only when you explicitly grant permission; if you decline, the Service still works using a default city (Seoul).

• Sky map & AR constellations: your location is used solely on your device to calculate star positions, and is never transmitted to or stored on any server.
• Find observatories nearby: when you use this feature, your location is sent to Google Maps & Places in order to search for nearby observatories. The Service does not separately store the transmitted location.

The Service may display ads through Google AdSense on the web and Google AdMob in the app. In doing so, Google and other third-party ad vendors may use cookies or advertising identifiers (Advertising ID / IDFA) to serve personalized ads and measure ad performance.

• Google uses advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) and advertising identifiers to serve ads based on your use of this Service and other sites and apps.
• In this process, your advertising identifier, ad and app interaction data, and approximate location (IP-based) may be transmitted to Google.
• On iOS, personalized ads using the advertising identifier are served only if you allow it via App Tracking Transparency (ATT). If you decline, you can still use the app normally with non-personalized ads.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
• Third-party vendors’ cookie use can be managed at Google’s advertising policies and www.aboutads.info.

The Service may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to understand usage. These tools collect anonymized access information (pages viewed, device type, approximate region) and do not identify individuals.

In the app, the Service uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash logs and diagnostic information (device model, OS version, app state) in order to improve stability. This information is used only to identify and fix errors, and does not identify individuals.
